There is no other way to explore and discover a city’s story, culture, and history than a city tour.
If you have never visited Connecticut before, you have no idea what you are missing. Though it may be the third smallest state, when you visit Connecticut, you’ll discover that a lot fits into this small package – from the rolling hills and New England villages in the northwest to the seaside towns of its southern coast.
Connecticut also houses several cities with must-visit cultural sites: New Haven, Yale University and its museums; Hartford, home to the Athenaeum and Mark Twain’s house; Bridgeport and the Barnum Museum. Mystic Seaport is a major draw for the nautically inclined, while at the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos, you can try your luck at the tables. When to Go to Connecticut
If you intend to visit the northwestern part of the state to see the fall foliage, make sure to book your Connecticut travel well in advance, as inns sell out quickly at this time of year. Winter in Connecticut brings snow – more the farther north you trek from Long Island Sound. Spring can be lovely, if fleeting. And, like much of the East Coast, summers are generally warm and humid, an ideal time to head to the beach.
